Raghavendra Suhas is an Indian Police Service,[1]Officer of 2001 Batch. He served as the Inspector General of Police, Internal Security Division for the State of Karnataka.[2] He has served the Govt. of Rajasthan and earlier Govt. of India in various capacities in Taxation, Law enforcement, Public Order and Governance. Raghavendra Suhas is an Engineering Graduate from Bangalore University and is the Fellow in Institute of Engineers and a Chartered Engineer. He is pursuing PhD on the subjects of Public Finances and Policies.[3] He has authored a book "Beyond red Alert, saving lives " which serves as a ready reckoner, for the people and Police Personnel, in managing Flood situation in Northern Range of Karnataka, in the River Krishna basin. His all time interests include Nature Photography, Trekking & Teaching.
Under the leadership of IGP Raghavendra Suhas, Gudageri Police station unit became one of India's top crime busters.[4] Chief Guest Engineer Raghavendra Suhas addressed efficient uses of Water and flood management in Krishna River basin on World Water Day conducted by Indian Institute of Engineer.
